A fire broke out this afternoon in Wan-Dan Township, Pingtung County, at the "Da Jia Yuan" electric appliance waste factory located on Shengxian Road. Thick smoke billowed into the air. The fire department dispatched 10 fire trucks and 22 personnel to the scene to fight the blaze. The intense flames caused the factory structure to deform, but fortunately, there were no casualties. The fire was brought under control in about an hour, with a burned area of approximately 150 square meters. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

A fire incident occurred today (5th) in Pingtung County at the abandoned factory of "Dajia Yuan" located on Shengxian Road in Wan-Dan Township. At around 3 PM, a large fire suddenly broke out, producing a substantial amount of black smoke from the metal factory. The fire department promptly dispatched 10 fire trucks and 22 personnel to the scene for firefighting. The fire was quite fierce, and the metal factory was burned to the point of twisting and deforming. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the fire, which was extinguished in about 1 hour, covering a burned area of approximately 150 square meters. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
