In the game, starting pitcher Fu Zhenhong faced challenges, but relief pitchers Chen Yu'an and Hong Guanyu performed excellently, preventing Guo Bao from scoring again. Su Lanhong was selected as the tournament MVP, while Guo Bao Vocational High School secured the runner-up position.

Ultimately, Kaohsiung City Team won the championship with a score of 2 to 1, achieving an impressive record of 8 wins without losses in this tournament. The head coach stated that this greatly boosts the team's morale and plans to enhance team chemistry through friendly matches before the Yushan Cup.

Kaohsiung City Team is primarily composed of players from Sanmin Senior High School, along with players from Kaohsiung Municipal Vocational High School and Pumen High School. The team performed excellently in the preliminaries, securing 5 consecutive wins, and defeated Luodong Vocational High School in the semifinals. In today's match, the starting pitcher for Kaohsiung City Team, Fu Zhenhong, faced some difficulties at the beginning, allowing four consecutive walks in the first inning and conceding a run when Liu Chengyou hit a single, leading to his early exit where Chen Yuwan took over.

When Chen Yuwan came in, he faced the pressure of a bases-loaded situation but successfully got the batter to hit a ground ball to first base, preventing the opponents from extending their lead. In the bottom of the 5th inning, Kaohsiung City Team tied the score with a timely hit from Hu Cheng'en, and in the bottom of the 6th inning, they successfully secured the winning run with a double from Wang Sheng’en and a crucial hit from Xu Shucheng. Chen Yuwan pitched 4.1 scoreless innings in relief, followed by Hong Guanyu who pitched 2 innings and suppressed Guo Pao High School's counterattack, ultimately helping the team preserve the victory and earn the win.

In this tournament, Kaohsiung City Team not only secured the championship, but the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award went to pitcher Su Lanhong, who delivered a shutout victory in the semifinals. Guo Pao High School took the runner-up position, while the third place was jointly held by Taitung Physical Education School's White Team and New Taipei City Team.
