This afternoon, a drowning incident occurred at Back Bay in Hengchun, Pingtung. A female diver, approximately in her 50s, accidentally drowned while coming ashore and was found without vital signs at the scene. Firefighters quickly arrived after receiving the report and assisted in transporting her to Hengchun Tourism Hospital for emergency treatment. After resuscitation, the woman has regained breathing and heartbeat and is currently still undergoing treatment.

A drowning incident occurred today in Hengchun, Pingtung, around 2 PM, where a female diver in her 50s drowned at the famous diving spot, Houbihu, and showed no signs of life at the scene. Firefighters urgently assisted in transporting her to Hengchun Tourism Hospital for resuscitation, where her breathing and heartbeat were subsequently restored, and she is currently undergoing continuous emergency treatment.

At 2:10 PM on the day of the incident, the fire department received a report from the public indicating that a drowning incident occurred on the right side of the water outlet at Houbihu in Hengchun Township. Witnesses had already pulled the drowning victim ashore and performed CPR. The fire brigade promptly dispatched personnel to the scene and transported the female diver to Hengchun Tourism Hospital for emergency care at 2:37 PM.

According to the fire department, the woman experienced an accident while coming ashore after completing her diving trip. Upon arrival at the scene, the drowning victim was found to have no respiratory or cardiac function. The hospital notified at 3:06 PM that, after emergency resuscitation, the victim had regained breathing and heartbeat and is currently receiving further treatment in the emergency room.
