Despite efforts from bystanders and rescue personnel, she did not regain consciousness and has been sent to Hengchun Tourism Hospital for emergency treatment. She has now regained her breathing and heartbeat and is still undergoing emergency care. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.

This afternoon (5th) at around 2 PM, a 54-year-old woman suffered a drowning accident while diving at a beach. After emergency treatment by paramedics, she has not regained consciousness and is currently receiving rescue treatment at Hengchun Tourism Hospital, where her breathing and heartbeat have been restored.

According to reports, the police and fire department received a call about a woman drowning on the right side of the exit at the rear of the pond in Hengchun Township. At that time, bystanders quickly pulled her ashore and performed CPR. Subsequently, rescuers arrived at the scene and continued to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the drowning woman, but she still did not regain consciousness. She was finally transported by ambulance to Hengchun Tourism Hospital for further rescue.

As of 3:06 PM, Hengchun Hospital reported that after emergency treatment, the victim has regained breathing and heartbeat and is still receiving treatment in the emergency room. The detailed cause of the incident is still under investigation, and relevant authorities will continue to clarify the circumstances surrounding the drowning accident.
