The metro company immediately activated emergency measures, dispatching ambulances and police to the scene for assistance. Due to the incident, a single-track bidirectional operation was implemented between Yadong Hospital Station and Jiangzicui Station, with a train interval of about 16 minutes, and a bus shuttle service was initiated. According to a trapped passenger, Ms. Liu, she felt very panicked and hoped to return home as soon as possible.
The Taipei MRT Bannan Line experienced a shocking derailment event this evening (5th). The MRT company revealed that the incident occurred at 6:53 PM, and the station master immediately went down to the tracks to handle the situation. The control center also quickly dispatched ambulances and MRT police to the scene for assistance.
Due to the incident, the section from Yadong Hospital Station to Jiangzicui Station is currently operating on a single line in both directions, with a train interval of about 16 minutes.
