"The Great Feng Night Watchman" is adapted from a popular novel, starring Wang Hedi and Tian Xiwei. It tells the story of modern man Yang Ling, who travels back to ancient times through a murder mystery game and transforms into Xu Qi'an of the Great Feng Dynasty. With his charming and mischievous personality alongside his deductive skills, he successfully solves a series of bizarre cases. In the drama, Xu Qi'an embarks on a romantic relationship with Princess Lin'an, and the two actors showcase great chemistry with several touching scenes. The series will premiere on April 4th and marks the first collaboration between Wang Hedi and Tian Xiwei, generating high anticipation.

“The Big Night Watchman” is adapted from the popular novel of the same name, starring Wang Hedi and Tian Xiwei. Although he has a flirtatious and playful personality, he is extremely clever and adept at solving cases, successfully uncovering a series of bizarre incidents using the knowledge and reasoning skills he learned in modern times.

Xu Qi'an not only fights against the dark forces of the court with like-minded partners, but also falls in love with the innocent and lively Princess Lin'an (played by Tian Xiwei), embarking on a romantic love story. Wang Hedi interprets the male lead's carefree and passionate character with a “cool and charming” vibe, while his co-actor Tian Xiwei praises him as the “chosen one, Xu Qi'an.” The iconic scenes of them “holding each other” and “interlocking fingers” in the drama have triggered a surge of discussion among fans.

It is understood that “The Big Night Watchman” is the first collaboration between Wang Hedi and Tian Xiwei. When asked about their first impressions of each other, the two simultaneously expressed that “there isn’t much of a difference!” Tian Xiwei described Wang Hedi as “honest, sincere, and brave,” humorously mentioning that beneath his “cool and charming” appearance, he is actually somewhat clumsy. Wang Hedi described Tian Xiwei as having “big eyes, very energetic, and an amazing appetite,” and recounted a funny incident in the makeup room that earned her praise for her acting skills.

The drama includes several kissing scenes, with the “fireworks kiss” being chosen by fans as one of the most heart-fluttering moments. Wang Hedi reminisced about the filming process, laughing that they shot this scene twice, with the second round having a lot more fireworks, making it very romantic. Tian Xiwei also added that after filming, both of their nostrils were black because of the smoke on set, and this amusing little incident resonated with fans.

In addition to the detective elements, time travel is also a major plot point. When asked what couple activities Xu Qi'an and Princess Lin'an would arrange if they traveled to modern times, both answered in unison that they would “eat hotpot three meals a day,” revealing their “foodie” nature.
