The two end up alone under the starry night, creating an ambiguous atmosphere that sparks viewers' curiosity about the "Bowl of Rice CP." Zhang Jun Ning reveals that the filming process has been arduous, especially the lack of restrooms making it difficult. In the story, their rescue of injured migrant workers and the delivery process creates a sense of urgency for Zhang Jun Ning. The drama is set against real societal issues, exploring the struggles and hardships of human nature, and will air weekly on Saturdays starting March 8th.

At this moment, the bond between the two deepens amid adversity. Zhang Junzai and "Brother Fa" Lian Bingfa successfully treat the injured and assist in childbirth under pressure. Alone together in the mountains late at night, they share their thoughts under the starry sky, creating an ambiguous atmosphere that piques the audience’s curiosity about the future development of the "Fan Wan CP." Zhang Junzai mentions the hardships faced during filming, stating, "The biggest challenge was the difficult shooting environment, especially since there were no restrooms; everyone had to hold it in, making the shooting quite tough."

In the drama, Zhang Junzai and Lian Bingfa venture into a remote dormitory to assist a migrant worker who suffered a shoulder fracture while transporting wood, unexpectedly encountering a pregnant migrant worker who suddenly goes into labor. Zhang Junzai hurriedly has to transform into a "midwife" to deliver the baby. However, after the baby is born, it does not cry, putting both the mother and child in life-threatening situations, causing her great anxiety. Zhang Junzai highlights that this rescue scene requires attention to many details, and the crew and actors need immense patience: "Surgeries usually require special props, but since we were handling an emergency in a dormitory, we had to use tools from a toolbox to substitute for real medical instruments, which made the process quite challenging."

In addition to the tension and excitement within the scenes, the off-screen shooting was also quite difficult. Zhang Junzai mentioned that this scene was not filmed in a studio but rather in a real metal house on the mountain, stating, "The filming team had to carry medical equipment and tools up the mountain, making the whole process very challenging." On the other hand, Huang Dawei plays the role of the medical equipment agent "Zuo Jiaqun" in the show, working to help the missing migrant workers obtain medical services. He strives to recruit Lian Bingfa as a partner but harbors a dark secret involving organ trafficking and human smuggling groups, which puts Lian Bingfa in danger once again. Huang Dawei shares, "I spent a lot of time thinking about this character, as he exhibits many behaviors that fall into the 'gray area'."

"The Outlaw Doctor" tells a story of intertwined fates of two strangers during a secret operation in a morgue late at night. Doctor Zheng Wanping focuses on treating sick children while neglecting her own child; Vietnamese plastic surgeon Fan Wenling illegally practices in Taiwan to cover her mother’s enormous medical bills. This series delves into the struggles and hardships of humanity within the underground society, set against the backdrop of real social issues, produced by a Golden Bell Awards producer and directed by a Golden Bell Awards director, presenting a thought-provoking story.

"The Outlaw Doctor" will premiere on March 8, airing every Saturday at 9 PM on Public Television, PTS+, and Chunghwa Telecom MOD, with two episodes airing at once.
