The Outlaw Doctor features a tightly woven plot, with Zhang Junli and Lian Bingfa facing difficult medical challenges in a remote workers' dormitory, while their relationship gradually heats up during this process. In the series, Zhang Junli performs an emergency delivery for a pregnant migrant worker, confronting a life-and-death test, while the shooting process becomes more difficult due to environmental factors. Huang Dawei plays a medical equipment dealer involved in illegal transactions, with a character rich in complexity. The entire series explores the human struggles within the underground society and will premiere on March 8.

The Outlaw Doctor reached its peak this week, as Zhang Jun Ning and Lian Bing Fa entered a remote mountain dormitory, facing the most challenging medical skills and environmental tests in the drama. At the same time, their relationship began to warm up in the midst of adversity. Under pressure, Zhang Jun Ning and "Fa Ge" Lian Bing Fa successfully completed the treatment of the injured and assisted in childbirth. The two found themselves alone in the mountains late at night, sharing their feelings under the starry sky, creating an increasingly ambiguous atmosphere that aroused viewers' expectations for the "Fan Wan CP"! Zhang Jun Ning candidly expressed about this scene: "The biggest challenge was the difficult filming environment, especially since there were no toilets at all, forcing everyone to hold it in, making the shooting very arduous."

In The Outlaw Doctor, Zhang Jun Ning and Lian Bing Fa delve into the remote dormitory to rescue a migrant worker who suffered a shoulder fracture while transporting wood, only to unexpectedly encounter a pregnant migrant worker experiencing premature rupture of membranes. Zhang Jun Ning took on the role of "midwife" to assist in the delivery, only to realize that if the baby could not cry, both mother and child would face the test of life and death, making her feel anxious! Zhang Jun Ning revealed that this rescue scene required special attention to many small details, and the crew and actors had to display great patience: "Surgeries usually require special instruments, but since we were performing emergency procedures in the dormitory, we could only use tools from the toolbox instead of real medical instruments, making the process much more challenging."

In fact, not only was the scene tense and thrilling, but the shooting process behind the scenes was also very difficult. Zhang Jun Ning stated that this scene was not filmed in a studio; the crew actually went to a steel house on the mountain for location shooting. "The filming team not only needed to carry medical equipment and tools up the mountain, which made the process quite challenging."

Additionally, Huang Da Wei plays the role of medical equipment agent "Zuo Jia Qun" in the drama, dedicated to helping missing migrant workers obtain good medical services, actively recruiting Lian Bing Fa's character as a partner. However, Huang Da Wei's character hides many unspeakable secrets and illegal transactions, possibly involving organ trafficking and human smuggling syndicates, putting Lian Bing Fa's character in crisis again. Huang Da Wei shared: "I spent a lot of time thinking about this character; his actions are full of 'gray areas'."

The Outlaw Doctor intertwines the fates of two unfamiliar characters through a secret surgery. Doctor Zheng Wan Ping focuses on treating sick children while overlooking her own child; Vietnamese plastic surgeon Fan Wen Ning practices illegally in Taiwan to pay off his mother's high medical bills. This series explores the struggles and hardships of human nature in the underground society against the backdrop of real social issues, produced by a Golden Bell Award producer and directed by a Golden Bell Award director, presenting a thought-provoking story.

The Outlaw Doctor will air every Saturday at 9 PM starting March 8, with two episodes each broadcast on public television and other platforms.
