The South Korean streamer 裴圭姸 (Penguin Sister) has recently been banned from entering Taiwan for three years due to illegal work. She revealed during a livestream that her employment gold card was revoked because she worked as a one-day store manager without applying for a work permit. The Immigration Agency confirmed this matter and stated that she may apply for entry again in the future if she meets the requirements. Similarly, American YouTuber Lela Fali is also facing a ban on entry due to illegal work.

The South Korean streamer Pengyumei was banned from entering Taiwan for three years in 2023 due to illegal work in Taiwan. She was scheduled to return to Taiwan on the 5th but was informed that she was "not allowed entry into Taiwan." This ban recently took effect, and she is expected to wait until 2028 to be able to enter again. Pengyumei pointed out that this incident is related to her role as a one-day store manager at a video game event in 2023, where her agency failed to apply for a work permit, resulting in her employment gold card being revoked. Although other events she participated in had obtained work permits, the immigration office stated that she is restricted from entering for a certain period due to her illegal work in Taiwan.

Additionally, Pengyumei mentioned during her live stream that American YouTuber Lele Pons, who was similarly affected by entry issues, encountered a similar situation. Although she had obtained a gold employment card and purchased a one-way ticket to Taiwan, she was informed during departure that she was "not allowed entry into Taiwan." The immigration office explained that while Lele Pons holds a cultural and artistic employment gold card, she is also subject to the entry ban due to her past illegal work in Taiwan.
