The main actors of the movie "You Only Like Me When You're Sick," Jiang Qi, Liu Xiufu, and Huang Guanzhi, recently attended the event "Super Sick One Day Store Manager in Operation," attracting many fans. At the event, Jiang Qi was asked to recreate the "Send Tree Pay" slap scene from the movie and jokingly said it was "his request." Liu Xiufu mentioned that the film has received good reviews online, with enthusiastic responses from the audience. The film is set to release in China on April 19 and has the potential to be adapted into a series in South Korea.

Some die-hard fans volunteered to recreate the scene of slapping from the movie poster, allowing Jiang Qi to "Send Tree Pay." The campus romance film "You Only Like Me When You're Sick," which has sparked heated discussions among netizens in Taiwan, recently had its main actors Jiang Qi, Liu Xiufu, and Huang Guanzhi appear at the theater's "Super Sick One-Day Store Manager Event," enthusiastically selling tickets with a loudspeaker. Some fans requested to recreate the "Send Tree Pay" slapping scene from the movie poster, even hoping to get a few extra slaps in. Jiang Qi laughed and said, "Just like the line from the movie spoken by Yezi, 'It was his request!'" Although slapping scenes are quite common in the plot, both Jiang Qi and Liu Xiufu, who have only recently debuted, have never experienced this. Only Huang Guanzhi admitted that he often gets slapped; he shared some tips on how to slap correctly, stating that he ensures the right distance and force before filming, and he has been slapped up to 4 or 5 times at most, joking that he can endure it due to his thick skin.

With the four-day holiday coinciding with good weather, theaters were crowded with many blockbuster films being released. Liu Xiufu stated that the online reviews are quite positive, with audience comments saying the film made them cry a lot. Jiang Qi mentioned that he did a lot of homework during filming, and that everyone enjoys it, which makes him happy. During promotion activities in the central and southern regions a few days ago, the two actors realized that their fan base had also grown. Liu Xiufu has another new film, "Killing Heart," set to release on the 18th. When asked if he was worried about the two films being released simultaneously, he confidently stated that the two works are of different genres and that they interact on social media to enhance the appeal of domestic films.

In addition to receiving positive reviews in Taiwan, the distribution company revealed that "You Only Like Me When You're Sick" is scheduled for release in China on April 19. Southeast Asian countries, such as Malaysia, Singapore, and Cambodia, will also see it released from April to May this year. Furthermore, a well-known Korean production company is interested in obtaining IP rights, planning not only to remake a Korean version of the film but also to potentially expand it into a series.
