Former NCT member Lucas (黃旭熙) will star in the new drama "Our Era - Time," directed by Tsao Jui-yuan, in Taiwan, playing the younger version of Jerry Yan. After his image was affected by personal life controversies in 2021, Lucas made his return last year and announced his entry into the acting world in April. The drama focuses on stories from military dependents' villages, primarily depicting the fate of a female student in 1963, while Lucas will showcase the story of a boy from that era. It has been reported that he is already preparing for his role in Taiwan.

Lucas's image was damaged due to personal scandals in 2021, and after his return last year, he officially announced his entry into the Taiwanese drama scene on April 1. It is reported that he will star in a new series produced by director Cao Ruiyuan, which will showcase the youth of Yan Chengxu.

In recent years, Yan Chengxu has been involved in several drama projects in Taiwan. Although Huang Xuxi faced challenges and was once withdrawn from the group due to personal issues, he has expressed a desire to collaborate with various actors. The cast of the drama he is participating in is quite exciting as well; reports indicate that it will also feature other well-known actors like Wu Kangren, Zhang Junning, and Chen Yihan. However, the role of Yan Chengxu has not yet been publicly disclosed. The 26-year-old Lucas, with his large eyes and distinct facial features, is expected to successfully portray the younger version of Yan Chengxu.

Recently, Lucas mentioned in a conversation with fans, "I have been in Taiwan for a month, busy preparing for filming." Additionally, a video of him celebrating his birthday at the Taipei Yizhong Restaurant has been shared, showing that he has been in Taiwan for a while and is undergoing professional training for his role.

"Our Era—Time" will tell the story of the military dependents' village using folk songs and pop music. Wu Kangren has also returned to Taiwan to make preparations. The plot centers around the life of a female student after she encounters a car accident in 1963. While it unfolds from the perspective of the female student, it also includes numerous stories about boys from their era. Lucas's performance in the drama is highly anticipated.
