Protests against Trump have erupted across the United States, expressing dissatisfaction with Trump's tariff policies and layoffs. Tens of thousands have gathered in Washington and other cities, calling for resistance. Former Vice President Kamala Harris and Obama have also urged young people to stand up for democracy. Foreign media report that the European Union may impose tariffs on American imports in retaliation. Tesla has become a focal point in the protests, facing multiple attacks, and EU countries will discuss response strategies on the 7th.

Anti-Trump actions are unfolding across the United States, with Trump emphasizing that the trade war is no easy task and urging the public to persevere.

Even though President Trump stated on the 4th that the tariff policy would trigger an economic revolution and called for patience among the people, tens of thousands gathered on the 5th at the Washington Monument and in major cities across the country to protest against Trump and his advisor Musk’s recent implementation of tariffs and layoffs. Following in the footsteps of former President Obama, former Vice President Harris also encouraged young people to bravely stand up against Trump.

Additionally, foreign media reported that the EU might take initial countermeasures against American goods such as dental floss, meat, grains, wine, and diamonds, totaling up to $28 billion (about 927.3 billion New Taiwan dollars), with a vote expected on the 9th. This move could see the EU follow the steps of China and Canada to impose retaliatory tariffs against the United States.

According to reports, over 150 groups have planned at least 1,300 "Hands Off" rallies from Boston to Los Angeles, where the public protests against the Trump administration's radical trade tariffs, mass layoffs of federal employees, deportation of legal immigrants, attacks on transgender communities, and threats to invade Greenland. People are concerned about the potential negative impacts of the tariff policy on global supply chains and consumer prices.

A spokesperson for the liberal group MoveOn stated that the public not only wants Trump to stop interfering with abortion rights and civil rights issues but also hopes he will steer clear of social security, health insurance, and overall economic issues. She believes the breadth of this event shows the ongoing expansion of public dissatisfaction with the Trump administration.

Former President Obama called on law firms and universities on the 3rd, urging the American people to jointly defend democratic values and resist Trump. He stated, "Fixing all of this requires the effort of every one of us, including every ordinary citizen who believes that this is all unreasonable."

Not only are the American people dissatisfied with Trump and Musk, but cities in Europe such as London, Lisbon, and Paris also held protests.
