The Haowangjiao Coastal High Platform in Houlong Township, Miaoli County attracts tourists with its magnificent views. The county government is working on creating a coastal sightseeing corridor from Haowangjiao to Baishatun Gongtian Temple in Tongxiao Township, with a total budget of over 400 million NTD. The plan aims to connect multiple attractions, forming a diverse tourism area. In addition to improving transportation facilities, there will also be initiatives to promote ecotourism and digital marketing plans, hoping to attract more visitors to explore this beautiful natural and cultural landscape.

Houlung Township in Miaoli County boasts a magnificent viewpoint at Cape of Good Hope, and the county government's Cultural and Tourism Bureau is actively seeking funding to connect Cape of Good Hope to the coastal corridor, including Baishatun Gongtian Temple in Tongxiao Township, transforming it into a linear tourist attraction.

This project invests over 400 million TWD, comprising five sub-projects, aimed at linking Cape of Good Hope, the Guokang Tunnel, Cape Paradise, and the Baishatun Mazu Cultural Park into a diverse tourist belt to attract more visitors. The highland at Cape of Good Hope, with its unique terrain and proximity to the Taiwan Strait, offers a panoramic view of the surrounding scenery. In recent years, the county government has also included Zhunan Township and Houlung Township in the county-level coastal tourism specific area, utilizing the unique landscape of Cape of Good Hope and integrating surrounding attractions such as the Guokang Tunnel and Cape Paradise, connecting with Miaoli Route 41 to Qinghai Temple, Shanbian Mazu, and Baishatun Gongtian Temple in Tongxiao Township, forming a tourist corridor that combines natural beauty, history, and religious culture.

The Cultural Tourism Bureau has also secured nearly 300 million TWD in subsidies from the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, along with the county government's self-raised funds, bringing the total budget to 450 million TWD, with plans to create the "Heart of Coastal Hills Baishatun Sacred Area." In addition, the county government and Houlung Township Office are making efforts to improve the tourism facilities at Cape of Good Hope, including the widening of Miaoli Route 33 and Miaoli Route 41, and are seeking to establish a green energy demonstration center with the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Energy Administration, hoping to make Cape of Good Hope and surrounding areas a diverse recreational zone.

The Cultural Tourism Bureau plans to link the attractions along the route within three years, promoting a tourism enhancement plan including the Cape of Good Hope Heart and the century-old Guokang Tunnel, an important corridor facility improvement plan from Baishatun to Cape of Good Hope, a sustainable tourism promotion plan for Good Hope Hill, a tourism industry enhancement plan for the Baishatun Mazu Cultural Park, and an integrated marketing promotion plan for the coastal tourism corridor, along with a digital tourism marketing plan for the future, totaling five sub-projects.
