In the rocky area below Wangyou Valley in Keelung, on the last day of the long holiday, a fisherman was startled to discover a body while fishing and immediately reported it to the police. Upon arrival, the police found that the body was highly decomposed and had maggots, indicating that the person had been dead for some time. The deceased was a 56-year-old male, fully clothed. The police have contacted the family and have reported the case to the prosecutorial office for investigation to determine the cause and circumstances of death.

On the last day of the holiday, a citizen fishing in the rocky area beneath Wanyou Valley in Keelung was surprised to discover a body. The citizen immediately reported it to the police. When the police and firefighters arrived at the scene, they found that the body was severely decomposed and covered with maggots, indicating that death had occurred some time ago. The police subsequently decided to request an autopsy to clarify the cause of death.

Several rescue personnel walked and climbed to the rocky area after receiving reports of a male body being discovered. Due to the body being exposed to seawater and its severe state of decay, it was immediately covered with a white cloth and carefully lifted out.

A member of the Zhongzheng squad stated, "The patient’s body was already infested with maggots. We collaborated with the Coast Guard and the police to move the patient to the shore, and the subsequent handling will be taken care of by the police." During the search for fishing spots, the angler was initially fishing with others but accidentally discovered the body when approaching the rocky area, frightening him so much that he called the police on the spot.

The deputy chief of the Badouzi Police Station pointed out that the deceased was fully clothed, and his limbs were swollen. The police have contacted the deceased's family to assist with related matters and have reported the case to the Keelung District Prosecutor's Office for an autopsy. Preliminary understanding suggests that the man was about 56 years old. Since his time of death has not been short, it is currently unclear whether he was washed ashore by the waves or fell from a height; the specific cause of death needs to be clarified by surveillance footage and the autopsy results.
