Renowned doctor Liu Yongquan once taught at Stanford University and uploaded images from the campus to the internet. One of Liu Yongquan's ways of flirting was to send naked selfies to women. Recently, he has been accused of hiding his married status and engaging in casual hookups with multiple women. Among these accusations, one victim publicly shared her experience, and later several other women reported similar situations, stating that they received Liu's naked selfies. Afterwards, the victim's boyfriend reported Liu to his wife, but Liu countered by suing them. Ultimately, the prosecutor decided not to press charges after an investigation, and the couple decided to expose Liu’s behavior in hopes of warning other women.

Last month, to celebrate World Sleep Day, Hong Kong officially established the Oral Sleep Medicine Society, aimed at raising public awareness about sleep apnea and inviting experts from various countries for exchanges. Among them, Liu Yongquan, as the head of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Nova Southeastern University in the United States, shared his research and clinical experiences, becoming the focus of the conference.
