The South Korean streamer Penguin Girl has been banned from entering Taiwan for three years due to illegal work. During a live stream, she revealed that she worked as a one-day store manager for a video game without applying for a work permit, which led to her employment gold card being revoked. The Immigration Agency stated that, according to the Ministry of Labor's ruling, Penguin Girl will not be able to re-enter Taiwan until 2028. Additionally, American YouTuber Lele Pons has also been banned from entering for similar reasons.

The South Korean streamer Pengyumei was banned from entering Taiwan for 3 years in 2023 due to illegal work in Taiwan. Pengyumei revealed during her livestream that she originally planned to fly to Taiwan on the 5th but was informed that she was not allowed to enter the country. This ban took effect immediately, and she is expected to be able to enter Taiwan again in 2028.

According to Pengyumei, the problem stemmed from her serving as a one-day store manager for a video game in 2023. However, her former agent failed to apply for a work permit for the event, which led to her employment gold card being revoked. Although work permits were applied for other events, she was still affected. The Immigration Department responded by stating that the Ministry of Labor had notified Pengyumei that she was banned from entering Taiwan due to her illegal work there, in accordance with relevant regulations.

In addition, Pengyumei mentioned during her livestream that the American YouTuber Lele Pons, who was also banned from entering Taiwan, had obtained a work gold card and was preparing for long-term development, but was also informed that she was not allowed to enter Taiwan upon departure. The Immigration Department stated that although Lele Pons holds a cultural and artistic employment gold card, she is similarly subject to a ban on entry due to her past illegal work behavior in Taiwan.
