The Braves once led by 22 points in the third quarter but were brought back to a tie by Isaiah in the final quarter, even briefly taking the lead. However, Hong Kaijie scored timely points, and in the end, the Braves narrowly won 119 to 113. Braves' head coach Wu Yongren stated that this game was for adjusting strategies for the playoffs, highlighting Hong Kaijie's 19 points and 11 assists, emphasizing the opportunities brought by their inside advantage. Steelers' Isaiah scored 36 points, and head coach Qiu Dazong expressed satisfaction with the team's performance, believing that the young players are gradually finding their competitive form.

In this game, Hong Kaijie scored 19 points and recorded a personal career-high of 11 assists. When asked about the reason for his hot shooting, he credited the height advantage of the Braves' inside players, stating, "Because we are tall inside, the opposing team had to help defend, which created a lot of open shots for us on the perimeter, giving me the chance to score."
