According to reports from the political center, the Douyin users Ya Ya, En Qi, and Xiao Wei were forced to leave the country due to pro-unification remarks made on Douyin. When Ya Ya returned to China, she was reportedly taken away by plainclothes officers, leading to concerns among netizens about her "disappearance." Xiao Wei had already canceled her Douyin account. En Qi posted a video on Douyin updating her situation, stating that everything was fine after returning home, but netizens had mixed reactions to her bare-faced appearance. Additionally, En Qi continued to update her followers and thanked friends who were concerned for her, emphasizing that "everything will be left to time."

Reports indicate that the Chinese voice actors Ya Ya, En Qi, and Xiao Wei have left Taiwan one after another after making statements about unification on Douyin. During her return to China, Ya Ya was allegedly taken away by plainclothes personnel at the airport, leading netizens to express skepticism, believing she might have gone missing; Xiao Wei had already canceled her Douyin account. Meanwhile, En Qi shared a video on Douyin about her recent situation after returning home, stating that she has been staying at home since her return and is in good condition. However, even though she used a beauty filter in the video, many Chinese netizens could hardly recognize her as she still appeared without makeup.

Due to the involvement of these three Chinese spouses in statements regarding unification, the Taiwanese authorities have requested them to leave the country by a deadline. Among them, Ya Ya was the first to return; upon her arrival in China, she was taken away by a group of people dressed in black, after which she lost contact. En Qi flew back to China on March 31, and the last to leave was Xiao Wei, who was eventually forcibly repatriated by the immigration agency as she did not exit the country voluntarily within the deadline.

After returning to China, only En Qi has continued to be active on Douyin. She uploaded a video the day after her return to confirm she is safe, and the IP location shown in the video is marked as Sichuan. However, Ya Ya and Xiao Wei's Douyin accounts have not been updated to this day, especially Ya Ya, who has been completely out of contact since being taken away, sparking various speculations from the public. In her video, she expressed her experience of returning to her home country and filmed a segment of the plane arriving at the airport, emphasizing that “both sides of the strait are her home” and thanking her supportive fans.

The day before, En Qi released a new video, showcasing a scene of her holding a Hello Kitty plush toy and a night view from a high-rise building. In the video text, she mentioned: “Today I received a small gift,” and thanked all her concerned friends, stating she is doing well and has been staying at home. She concluded with, “Everything is left to time,” but she still appeared in the video without makeup. Although she used a beauty filter, it made her chin appear overly thin, causing some Chinese netizens to question the authenticity of her appearance, exclaiming, “Is this really her?”
