讀後心得
Egypt is collaborating with the Russian state-owned nuclear enterprise Rosatom to construct Egypt's first nuclear power plant, with plans to install the reactor vessel in November. The nuclear power plant is located in Dabaa, Matrouh Governorate, and is expected to become the largest nuclear power plant in the world, generating 37 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually to meet 10% of Egypt's energy needs. The project costs approximately $25 billion and is expected to be completed by 2030, with financing support from the Russian side.

Egypt is cooperating with Russia's state-owned nuclear enterprise to build Egypt's first nuclear power plant. The enterprise recently announced that it will install the reactor vessel in November, preparing for the operation of the nuclear facility. Once completed, this nuclear power plant will become the largest in the world, with an annual production of 37 billion kilowatt-hours.

Since 2015, Egypt and the Russian state-owned nuclear enterprise have engaged in the construction of this power plant, with a total investment of approximately $25 billion, funded by loans from Moscow. The nuclear power plant is located in Dabaa, Matrouh Governorate, covering an area of over 5 square kilometers. This project is the largest collaboration between Russia and Egypt since the Aswan Dam project and also the largest construction project in Africa currently.

The Aswan Dam is located in southern Egypt, with a height of 111 meters and a width of 3.6 kilometers. It utilizes water from the Nile River for hydroelectric power generation and irrigation. This project was built in the early 1950s with the support of the Soviet Union, under the then Egyptian president.

The general manager of the Russian state-owned nuclear enterprise recently stated to the media that the installation of the reactor vessel for the Dabaa nuclear power plant is planned to be completed in November. The completion of this phase will transition the construction from a construction site to an operational nuclear power plant. Last October, the Egyptian Nuclear Power Plant Authority announced that the installation of the core catcher for the third generator unit has been completed. Currently, the operations of the four generator units are ongoing as planned, each with a capacity of 1200 megawatts.

The Dabaa nuclear power plant is expected to be completed by 2030, at which point it will become the largest nuclear power plant in terms of geographical scale in the world. Once operational, it can produce up to 37 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, which will meet 10% of Egypt's energy needs.
