Hualien County Speaker Zhang Jun recently expressed support for the recall of Kuomintang Legislative Yuan Caucus Leader Fu Kun-chi. According to online polls, over 77% of participants approve of the recall. Zhang stated that since Fu Kun-chi took office, the Kuomintang's momentum has significantly declined, leading to improper attacks on outstanding party lawmakers. He emphasized that for the future of the Kuomintang, it is necessary to sever ties with Fu Kun-chi in order to restore rational negotiation and avoid the parliament falling into continuous chaos.

The era of mass recalls has arrived. Recently, Hualien County Speaker Zhang Jun made a post expressing his support for the recall of Kuomintang Legislative Yuan Caucus Leader Fu Kuan-chi. A poll initiated online titled "Hualien County Speaker supports the recall of Fu Kuan-chi, do you support it?" showed overwhelming results. As of 7 am on the 7th, 13,885 people had voted, with 77.9% indicating strong support, 20.4% of respondents expressing opposition, and 1.5% having no opinion.

Zhang Jun stated that both he and many veteran KMT councilors have been continuously suppressed and defamed by Fu Kuan-chi, forcing them to leave the Kuomintang. Since Fu Kuan-chi took over as Legislative Yuan Caucus Leader, the KMT's momentum has seen a dramatic decline. He pointed out that the Kuomintang must sever ties with Fu Kuan-chi; otherwise, it will become increasingly marginalized and distanced from the people. Therefore, he decided to support the recall.

Zhang Jun expressed concern over the challenges facing the Kuomintang. Many outstanding party-affiliated legislators have been affected by the wave of recalls, and the root of all this chaos is attributed to Fu Kuan-chi. Although they oppose mass recalls, they support the recall of Fu Kuan-chi. He believes that only by cutting ties with Fu Kuan-chi can the Legislative Yuan restore rational negotiations. He emphasized, "As long as the tumor is not removed, the Legislative Yuan will never have peace, and Hualien will forever be stagnant."
