The Central Weather Bureau pointed out that the winds have shifted to blow from the east to southeast, with brief showers occurring in some areas, particularly in the mountainous regions of the west. During the day, temperatures in the north can reach 28 degrees, while the south may reach 30 degrees. Nighttime lows will be around 17 to 21 degrees. Tomorrow, there will be localized brief showers, and with the approaching front, temperatures will vary slightly, ranging between 18 to 30 degrees across different areas. In terms of air quality, some regions are rated as ordinary, while others have an "orange alert."
Today, as the wind direction changes, the weather across Taiwan generally becomes more comfortable and warm.
According to the Central Weather Bureau's report, the wind direction has shifted to from the east to the southeast, with localized brief rainfall expected in the eastern areas, the Hengchun Peninsula, and the mountainous regions in the west. The probability of rainfall in the western mountainous areas will be higher in the afternoon. Other regions will mostly be cloudy to sunny, with occasional brief rain in the northern plains.
The weather bureau indicated that daytime temperatures in the northern region are noticeably rising, with highs in the western part reaching 27 to 29 degrees Celsius, while the eastern part is around 24 to 26 degrees Celsius. As for the evening and early morning, low temperatures in various areas are expected to be between 17 to 21 degrees Celsius.
- For the outlying islands, the temperature in Penghu is 21 to 24 degrees; Kinmen is 15 to 26 degrees; Matsu is 14 to 19 degrees.
- In terms of air quality, the air quality in Zhuliu, Yilan, and Hualien-Taitung is rated as "ordinary"; while the northern, central, Yunjiannan, Kaohsiung-Pingtung areas, as well as Matsu, Kinmen, and Penghu have issued an "orange alert."
Looking ahead to Tuesday, there will still be localized brief rainfall in the mountainous areas of the western part, the eastern region, and the Hengchun Peninsula, with occasional brief rain also in the northern area, while other regions will be cloudy to sunny. The temperature forecast for that day is 17 to 28 degrees in the north, 18 to 30 degrees in the central region, 21 to 31 degrees in the south, 17 to 25 degrees in the northeastern part, 19 to 25 degrees in Hualien, and 20 to 26 degrees in Taitung.
As for Wednesday, with the front approaching, the weather in various places will be stable in the morning, followed by localized brief showers or thunderstorms in the northern region, and the mountainous areas in the central and southern parts will also gradually experience localized brief showers or thunderstorms. From Wednesday evening to Thursday, after the front passes, there will be brief showers or thunderstorms in areas north of the central region, and some areas may experience heavier rain, with the rainfall intensity slightly weakening after passing.
The temperature forecast for Wednesday and Thursday is 18 to 29 degrees in the north, 19 to 28 degrees in the central region, 21 to 30 degrees in the south, 18 to 26 degrees in the northeastern part, 20 to 26 degrees in Hualien, and 21 to 28 degrees in Taitung.
