South Korean streamer Penguin Girl has been banned from entering Taiwan for three years due to illegal work. She revealed during a live stream that she was originally scheduled to fly to Taiwan on the 5th but was denied entry because she did not apply for a work permit while participating in a one-day store manager event. The National Immigration Agency confirmed that her employment gold card has been revoked. A similar case involves American YouTuber Lele Pons, who also failed to enter Taiwan due to illegal work.

South Korean live streamer Penguin Sister has been banned from entering Taiwan for 3 years due to illegal work, drawing attention. She came to Taiwan in 2023 to challenge a walk around the island, but after discovering her entry ban, she revealed that the ban has recently taken effect, and she will have to wait until 2028 to enter Taiwan again.

According to her, the ban was due to her participation in a gaming event in 2023 without applying for a work permit. Although she previously obtained a work gold card, it was canceled due to this incident. The National Immigration Agency also provided an explanation, stating that the Ministry of Labor had notified Penguin Sister that due to her illegal work in Taiwan, she would be banned from entering for a period of time according to relevant regulations.

Additionally, Penguin Sister mentioned another banned American YouTuber, 乐乐法利, who has also been banned due to illegal work issues. Although she had obtained a work gold card and purchased a ticket to Taiwan, she was still informed that she was not allowed to enter. The Immigration Agency emphasized that if both individuals can meet the conditions for lifting the ban in the future, they can reapply.
