However, what makes it even harder for the audience to accept is that Chu Hsiang's character shows no concern for the implications, leading Qiu Zixin to misunderstand and even causing Xia Yuxin to believe she has a chance. Regarding the challenge of playing a romantic role, Chu Hsiang stated that he feels a lot of pressure, even feeling so nervous that he often can't eat, worrying that he won't perfectly portray the character. However, this drama not only broke through his acting skills but also unexpectedly developed his skill for "one-sided tears"! Chu Hsiang laughed and said, "I used to think being able to control tears from both eyes was an impressive skill, but during the filming of this show, I suddenly unlocked this ability, just like leveling up in a game!" Currently, he can only control tears from his right eye, while the left eye has yet to "awaken," leaving him in a funny predicament. Additionally, since his parents have passed away in real life, he finds it very easy to be emotionally affected when acting with his "family" members Chen Guanlin, Liao Yiqiao, and Lin Xuanyu in the drama. "As soon as they give me a look, my eyes will turn red, and tears will come pouring out instantly." Such genuine emotional expressions allow the audience to better feel the character's depth and struggles.

Chu Hsiang admitted that he has a more introverted personality. When he first started shooting promotional photos with Qiu Zixin, there was some awkwardness between them, but as their scenes together increased, they gradually developed a tacit understanding. He shared, "We have a lot of scenes together, and as we go along, we naturally cultivate a kind of rapport; sometimes we don't even need to say anything to understand each other's reactions, and we won't miss the ball during exchanges." Since the emotional scenes in the show are intense, Chu Hsiang and Qiu Zixin often have to act out emotionally charged situations. He laughed and said, "Recently, Qiu Zixin and I have been crying every day; I'm really getting a bit tired of crying. Sometimes after filming, we tease each other: 'Alright, can we stop crying now?'"

Interestingly, Chu Hsiang and Xia Yuxin collaborated ten years ago when they hosted an outdoor program together. Chu Hsiang recalled that he was still a "newbie" in outdoor filming at the time, and now, ten years later, they are working together again as actors, making him sigh, "Time really flies!"
