Recently, the finale of the Korean drama "The Last Time I Met You" sparked heated discussions, with viewers shedding tears over its emotional moments. IU, who has always been caring towards the staff, brought another heartwarming story. As the crew was about to wrap, she prepared a taiyaki support vehicle for the 6-year-old child star Shin Chae-rin, who plays her daughter, which touched the young star's mother deeply, stating that this was a heartfelt gesture they would never forget in their lifetime. In the drama, IU plays dual roles, portraying both a young version of "Ae-jung" and an older "Kim Myung," while the merely 6-year-old Shin Chae-rin plays young Myung. The two spent much time together during filming, with IU taking meticulous care of Shin Chae-rin. Even while shooting the finale, she delivered taiyaki to encourage the child, writing, "Chae-rin, you've worked hard during this time, thank you."
