He mentioned that the Kuomintang, if it does not change its name to "Taiwan Kuomintang," has no right to speak, as they are essentially speaking for China. Regarding the Kuomintang's call to stop the mass recall to face international crises, Cao emphasized that national interests should take precedence over the recall; otherwise, Taiwan will face greater danger.

On the 5th,曹興誠 stated that the top priority for Taiwan currently is the recall election, and other matters cannot be compared to it.

The Executive Yuan's Premier, 卓榮泰, announced that a special budget of 88 billion TWD will be allocated to subsidize the agriculture, industry, and fisheries affected by the 32% "reciprocal tariff" from the United States. He stated that next week, he will invite the parliament's ruling and opposition parties to discuss related matters. However, the Kuomintang called for the cessation of the major recall effort to unite against international crises. In response, 曹興誠 emphasized that Taiwan's tariff issues have nothing to do with the Kuomintang; the main focus right now is to complete the recall, and any other issues are just distractions.

卓榮泰 made the above remarks at a press conference on the "Support Plan for Our Export Supply Chain in Response to U.S. Tariffs" held by the Executive Yuan. The Kuomintang chairman, 朱立倫, stated that the people must unite and stop fighting to confront the international crisis. He criticized the Democratic Progressive Party for not being able to maintain power through confrontational means, arguing that such shortsighted political maneuvers do not aid Taiwan's unity.

KMT legislator 許宇甄 accused the Democratic Progressive Party of attacking while calling for help in the face of national difficulties, making it difficult to unite, and urged President 賴清德 to immediately order the cessation of the major recall effort.

On that day, 曹興誠 attended a "successful recall signature collection event" organized by the team advocating for the recall of KMT legislator 涂權吉, stating that if the Chinese Nationalist Party does not change its name to "Taiwan Nationalist Party," it has no right to speak. He reiterated that the actions taken by the Chinese Communist Party are completely unrelated to Taiwan and emphasized that the tariff issue has nothing to do with them, urging everyone to understand what the Kuomintang is doing and calling on them to change their name before discussing further.

When reporters asked whether the threatening tone of the Kuomintang would affect the atmosphere of the recall election, 曹興誠 replied that it would not; the major recall is an action to defend Taiwan, and any legislator serving China's interests is unworthy of speaking. Former Chairman of the Central Broadcasting System, 趙少康, claimed he is "fighting," but mentioned that the enemy country is across the strait, while Taipei Mayor 蔣萬安 does not dare to specify who the enemy is. 曹興誠 responded that the fundamental national interest is to first carry out the recall; this is Taiwan's top priority, and internal traitors and Communist bandits must be cleared out; otherwise, the country will face the danger of annihilation, and other matters can be temporarily set aside.
