At the South Yang Cherry Blossoms along the Xiangxie Avenue of Wushantou Reservoir, the flowers are currently in full bloom. The pink petals dance in the wind, creating a romantic and enchanting scene. These cherry blossoms have a history of ninety-five years, primarily introduced and planted by Hatta Yoichi, known as the "Father of the Chianan Canal," in 1930 from Japan. Although the blooming period has been slightly delayed due to low temperatures, around eighty percent of the flowers are currently in bloom, attracting many visitors for photo opportunities. Other flowers in the park are also blooming simultaneously, and it is expected that the South Yang Cherry Blossom season will continue until mid-April, accompanied by related cycling events to attract more tourists.

The Nanyang cherry blossoms planted on the Xiangxie Boulevard at the Wushantou Reservoir are currently in full bloom, and their pink petals add a touch of romance to the atmosphere.

According to reports from Guantian, the Nanyang cherry blossoms at the Wushantou Reservoir have now fully bloomed. Petals falling in the gentle breeze resemble "sakura snow," attracting numerous visitors to admire them. This Nanyang cherry, which has a history of ninety-five years, is located beneath the Wushantou Dam along a walkway that spans over a kilometer. The cherry blossom viewing path, which is approximately one hundred twenty meters long, has become a popular spot for visitors to take photos. A total of twenty-one Nanyang cherry trees have been planted, and during the peak blooming period, the falling petals create a stunning scene.

The local management office stated that the Nanyang cherries on Xiangxie Boulevard were personally planted by the "Father of the Chianan Irrigation System" when the Wushantou Reservoir was completed in 1930, giving them a history of ninety-five years. Every March, when they bloom, they become one of the most beautiful sights in Wushantou. However, due to the impact of continuous low temperatures this year, the Nanyang cherries only began to bloom in mid-March, and they have now reached eighty percent of their peak bloom.

Within the Wushantou area, in addition to the Nanyang cherries planted around the old water outlet, camping area, riverside park, and the Hatta Yoichi Memorial Room, flowers such as yellow trumpet trees, magenta tabebuia, silk floss trees, kapok trees, and leucophyllum frutescens have also started to bloom. The Nanyang cherry blossom season on Xiangxie Boulevard is expected to last until mid-April, and the area will also host a fun cycling event along the national greenway of the Chianan Irrigation System to attract more visitors.
