The beautiful Gaze of Hope coastal high platform in Houlung Town, Miaoli County, is breathtaking. The county's Cultural Affairs Bureau is making every effort to secure funding, planning to create a strip-style tourist corridor from Gaze of Hope to the Baishatun Gongtian Temple in Tongxiao Town, with a total budget exceeding 400 million NTD. This plan includes linking multiple attractions such as the Guokang Tunnel and Cape Paradise, forming a diverse tourism area that integrates nature, history, and religious culture. The Cultural Affairs Bureau plans to carry out five sub-projects within three years to enhance local tourism facilities and attract more visitors.

The town of Houlong in Miaoli County boasts the stunning viewpoint of Cape Hope, and the county's Cultural Affairs Bureau is fully striving to secure funding to develop a coastal corridor from Cape Hope to Tongxiao Township's Baishatun Gongtian Temple into a stripe-shaped tourist attraction.

The county government plans to invest over 400 million NTD in five sub-projects to connect Cape Hope, the Guokang Tunnel, Cape Paradise, and the Baishatun Mazu Cultural Park, forming a diverse tourist belt to attract more visitors.

The Cape Hope highland in Houlong Town has a unique terrain and overlooks the Taiwan Strait, allowing for breathtaking views. In recent years, the county government has fought to include Zhunan Township and Houlong Township in the county-level coastal tourism specific area. By linking nearby unique attractions such as the Guokang Tunnel and Cape Paradise, along with connections to Miao 41 Line leading to Qinghai Palace, Shanjian Mazu, and the Baishatun Gongtian Temple in Tongxiao Township, a diverse tourism corridor combining natural landscapes, history, and religious culture is being formed.

The Cultural Affairs Bureau has secured nearly 300 million NTD in subsidies from the Ministry of Transportation and Communications' Tourism Bureau, along with self-raised funds, to jointly create the "Heart of the Sea Hill Baisha Sanctuary" project, with a total estimated funding of 450 million NTD.

Furthermore, the county government and the Houlong Township office are also investing in the improvement plan for tourism facilities at Cape Hope, including the widening of Miao 33 Line and Miao 41 Line, and seeking the establishment of a green energy demonstration center from the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Energy Administration, aiming to make Cape Hope and its surrounding area a diverse recreational zone.

The Cultural Affairs Bureau plans to connect major attractions along the route within three years, including the tourism enhancement of the Heart of the Sea Hill at Cape Hope and the century-old Guokang Tunnel, the improvement of tourism facilities along the important coastal corridor from Baishatun to Cape Hope, the promotion of sustainable tourism at Hope Mountain, the enhancement of the tourism industry at the Baishatun Mazu Cultural Park, the integrated marketing promotion of the coastal tourism corridor, and a digital tourism marketing plan for smart travel in the future, totaling five sub-projects.
