The music event "Taiwan Festival," organized by the Pingtung County Government, was held from the 3rd to the 5th, attracting over 1 million participants and achieving this milestone for three consecutive years. A couple who met during the event returned specifically to take their wedding photos; however, incidents of male college student harassment and 18 cases of intoxication also occurred during the event. The Taiwan Festival not only provides a stage for musicians but also boosts the local economy. The county government stated they will see everyone next year and announced that the Pingtung Three Major Days Music Festival will be held from November 11th to 13th, inviting music fans from all over Taiwan to participate.

The county government emphasized that the "Taiwan Festival" has become a music brand for Pingtung. According to statistics from a telecommunications company, there were 300,000 participants on the first day and 410,000 on the second day. Due to its good reputation and the influence of consecutive public holidays, the total number of participants over the three days exceeded 1 million. It not only provided a stage for musicians but also attracted a large number of music fans, further promoting local business opportunities and the economy, highlighting the significant meaning of holding the "Taiwan Festival."

This year marks the fifth year of the "Taiwan Festival," with many bands gradually moving from small stages to the main stage, progressing along with the growth of the event. A couple, who returned to the Taiwan Festival this year to take wedding photos, shared their joy of getting married on social media and received many blessings.

However, a 21-year-old male university student surnamed Lin was accused on site of sexually harassing multiple female music fans, and he was photographed by bystanders and uploaded to social media. Finally, the police brought him back in accordance with the law and referred him to the relevant authorities for investigation. Additionally, the police also handled 18 cases of intoxicated individuals falling on the ground and reiterated that the "Taiwan Festival" is a positive and sunny music event, and strict law enforcement will be imposed on unlawful activities.

The county government announced that the "Taiwan Festival" will be held again next year, and from the 11th to the 13th, the three major music festivals in Pingtung will take place at the county sports arena grassland, featuring 16 artists, including Golden Melody Award winner Yang Naiwen, Golden Melody Award winner Hsu Fu-kai, as well as the king of dance Luo Zhixiang and Bi Shujin among a strong lineup, eagerly anticipating music fans from all over Taiwan to participate again.
