The "Le Kaohsiung" Children's Day event held in Kaohsiung City this year attracted over a million attendees and lasted for four days, ending today. This event combined LEGO with a market economy, offering a variety of creative activities for both young and old to enjoy joyful moments together. 600 students from 12 rural schools participated in the LEGO workshops and showcased their creations on-site. In addition, the specially designed painting area allowed children to unleash their creativity, earning many fun little gifts. The overall event filled Weiwuying with laughter and successfully attracted many families to join the fun.

This year, the "Lego Kaohsiung" Children's Day event, co-hosted by the Kaohsiung City Government and Weiwuying, attracted a large number of participants. The four-day event, which concluded today (6th), had an estimated participation of over one million people. This event undoubtedly boosted the local economy and supported young innovators and entrepreneurs in Kaohsiung, bringing together 100 unique market brands to create the nation's most distinctive market with the themes of "childlike joy" and "vibrancy," offering food and entertainment for both children and adults to celebrate a happy Children's Day.

The "Lego Kaohsiung" event also provided a joyful stage for many children from remote areas. The event invited students from 12 rural schools in the Kaohsiung area to participate in workshops, with a total of 600 students creating works using 96 base plates and 98,304 Lego pieces over eight days, showcasing their creations during the event. Additionally, 9 elementary schools participated in live performances featuring strings, traditional music, and dance, making "Lego Kaohsiung" a talent showcase for the children.

This year's Children's Day event was not only an amusement park but also a space for every child to explore safely and grow happily. Under the guidance and companionship of professionals, children could participate in a variety of activities using Lego bricks, including building walls, racing challenges, and themed inflatable games, filling Weiwuying with the sounds of children's laughter. Moreover, the city government mobilized multiple related departments to ensure that children enjoyed a variety of creative, fun, and diverse activities, experiencing the sense of achievement from building with Lego bricks and the challenges of different sports. The inflatable area was particularly popular, keeping many children engaged and reluctant to leave.

To simultaneously advance aesthetic education, the Education Bureau set up a "Happy Painting Zone" at Weiwuying, which included four activities: "Giant Block Graffiti Hide and Seek," "Transparent Time and Space Mystery Wall," "Floor Graffiti Adventure," and "Mysterious Light and Shadow Treasure Map." Children could choose activities based on their interests, with colored pens, crayons, and other creative materials provided on-site. Professional art teachers were also present to guide the young artists, and those who completed their creations could enter a drawing to win small gifts such as Lego pens, erasers, sticky notes, and pencils.

This event attracted a massive crowd, with every session fully booked. Families participated together in various activities, sharing wonderful moments. In addition, an outdoor painting and graffiti tent invitation activity was held, inviting families with elderly members across three generations to participate, resulting in many interesting sculptural works. Nearly a hundred tents were displayed on-site, forming a colorful tent forest where visitors could walk through and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of happy families.

Over the four days of the event, Weiwuying attracted large crowds, especially with the screening of the movie "Zhuge Silang" for three consecutive nights. "Zhuge Silang vs. The Devil’s Party" drew many adults alongside children reminiscing about their favorite childhood cartoons, and it also attracted visitors from outside the city, making Weiwuying lively at night, with crowds lingering for a long time.
