This year, Kaohsiung City held the Children's Day event "Lego Kaohsiung" at Wei-Wu-Ying, attracting a large crowd of both big and small friends. The four-day event is estimated to have drawn over one million visitors, allowing everyone to share joyful moments at Wei-Wu-Ying. "Lego Kaohsiung" is not just a giant playground; it is also an ideal place for children to explore safely and grow happily. Here, children from different backgrounds and needs, accompanied by professional instructors, can freely combine Lego bricks, participate in the Lego wall-building, racing challenges, and themed bouncy activities, filling Wei-Wu-Ying with the sounds of children's laughter.
The event attracted participation from various related units of the city government, allowing children to experience creative, interesting, and diverse activities at Wei-Wu-Ying. Through the combination of Lego bricks, children felt a sense of achievement while facing various sports challenges. The bouncy area, in particular, captivated many kids, with some even reluctant to go home. "Lego Kaohsiung" also became a joyful stage for children from rural areas, inviting 600 students from 12 local rural schools in Kaohsiung to participate in workshops. Utilizing 96 panels to create 98,304 Lego pieces displayed on-site during the event, it also featured stringed instrument performances and dance shows from 9 elementary schools, turning "Lego Kaohsiung" into a stage for children to showcase their talents.

Children can choose activities based on their interests, with a variety of materials provided on-site, supervised by professional art teachers. Kids who complete their creations can participate in a gacha event to win small gifts like Lego atom pens, erasers, sticky notes, and pencils. The event attracted numerous families to participate together and enjoy quality time. There was also a call for painting and doodling tents, inviting senior citizens and multigenerational families to join in, adding color to Children's Day with playful materials. Nearly a hundred tent creations were displayed on-site, forming a colorful forest of tents that captured the essence of family happiness.

Additionally, each day of the event at Wei-Wu-Ying attracted large crowds, especially during the screening of the movie "Zhuge Silang" over three evenings, drawing many adults to reminisce about their childhood with children, becoming another highlight of the lively atmosphere at Wei-Wu-Ying after dark.
