The Kaohsiung City this year held the "Lego Kaohsiung" Children's Day event at Weiwuying, attracting over a million visitors. The event lasted four days and featured a Lego building area, racing challenges, and various creative activities. Under the guidance of professionals, children could freely explore and create, and they also participated in a painting area to experience aesthetic education, receiving small gifts as well. In addition, the event combined a unique market to boost the local economy and screening classic animations in the evening, drawing many families to participate together, creating a lively atmosphere on-site.

This year, Kaohsiung City held a children’s festival event combining LEGO called "LEGO Kaohsiung" at Weiwuying, attracting a large crowd over the four-day event, with an estimated attendance of over one million people.

The event created a play paradise, allowing every child to explore and grow happily in a safe environment. Children from various backgrounds and needs could assemble LEGO bricks under the guidance of professionals and participate in diverse activities such as the LEGO building wall, racing challenges, and themed inflatables. The Kaohsiung City Education Bureau pointed out that the participation numbers over the four days were astonishing.

The Kaohsiung City Government also mobilized various departments to collaborate, allowing children to experience a variety of creative and fun activities at Weiwuying, enjoying the sense of accomplishment that comes from assembling LEGO blocks and participating in various sports challenges. Especially in the inflatable area, many children of all sizes were reluctant to leave, with numerous kids wanting to continue playing.

At the same time, to promote aesthetic education, the Kaohsiung City Education Bureau also set up a "Joyful Painting Area" at Weiwuying, featuring four checkpoints: "Giant Block Graffiti Hide and Seek," "Transparent Time and Space Mystery Wall," "Floor Graffiti GO," and "Mystery Light and Shadow Treasure Map." Children could choose to participate based on their interests, with various colored pens and crayons provided on-site, along with assistance from professional art teachers. Children who completed their creations could also participate in a lottery to win small gifts such as LEGO brick pens, erasers, sticky notes, and pencils.

Furthermore, the event also invited the elderly to join in, creating artworks in the painting graffiti tents, showcasing nearly a hundred tent creations, forming a three-dimensional colorful tent forest where family members could walk through together and feel the atmosphere of happiness.

The LEGO Kaohsiung event also effectively promoted the market economy, supporting Kaohsiung's innovators and entrepreneurial youth, combining 100 distinctive market brands, integrating the themes of "Child Fun" and "Colorful" to create the most unique market in the country, offering a variety of food and entertainment.

During the event, the crowd at Weiwuying surged like a tide, especially during the three consecutive nights of film screenings of "Zhuge SiLang," with many adults bringing children to relive childhood classic cartoons, resulting in a lively atmosphere filled with people as night fell.
