The Tainan City Government, in collaboration with relevant organizations, has opened the "Guangxian Traffic Park," aiming to promote traffic safety and provide an entertaining and educational environment. Mayor Huang Weizhe stated that this is the first traffic-themed park in Tainan City, featuring scaled-down traffic facilities to help children learn traffic rules while having fun, fostering a consciousness of obeying traffic regulations. The park's design includes lanes, sidewalks, and pedestrian signal lights, encouraging parents and children to learn together, enhancing traffic safety awareness, and promoting a safer traffic environment.

In order to deeply promote the concept of traffic safety within the community, the Tainan City Government's Transportation Bureau, in collaboration with the Public Works Bureau and the Central-West District Office, has jointly established the "Guangxian Traffic Park," which features distinctive traffic education elements. Mayor Huang Weizhe recently inspected various children’s facilities and announced the official opening of the park. He hopes that through diverse promotional methods and engaging activities, citizens can grasp correct road-use knowledge in a relaxed atmosphere, making traffic safety awareness penetrate every age group. City councilors have also expressed their concern about this initiative.

Huang Weizhe pointed out that Guangxian Traffic Park is Tainan City's first park with a traffic theme, designed to combine entertainment with education. It features several miniature traffic facilities that have already attracted numerous parents to bring their children to play. Children can understand traffic rules through these large traffic play equipment, cultivating an awareness of following traffic rules in an enjoyable manner. The city government stated that in the future, they will seek other suitable locations to establish similar parks to enhance public awareness of traffic regulations.

The mayor emphasized that Tainan City is actively promoting traffic safety education because cultivating correct road-use concepts among citizens is key to ensuring safety. The establishment of traffic parks allows correct road-use knowledge to reach all age groups. In the future, the city government will continue with outreach efforts, encouraging schools at all levels to effectively utilize the park's educational resources, enhancing traffic safety awareness through experiential learning, and laying the foundation for creating a friendly traffic environment.

Guangxian Traffic Park is located at the intersection of Lane 550, Section 2, Zhonghua West Road and Wenxiang Street in the Central-West District. It is designed with a scaled-down roadway environment that integrates traffic markings, signs, and signals, while also providing recreational spaces, creating a park that serves both educational and entertainment purposes. Through enjoyable educational methods, students can learn traffic safety knowledge while playing, enhancing their self-protection abilities. The park features roadways, sidewalks, pedestrian signals, and crosswalk lines, and is designed to reference roundabout layouts, creating a realistic traffic environment where visitors of all ages can learn correct traffic rules while having fun, promoting the concept of "pedestrian priority" and advocating for "slow down, look, stop at intersections, and give priority to pedestrians."

The park provides a simulated road experience aimed at creating a space for parents and children to learn together, cultivating respect for equitable road use and enhancing defensive driving self-protection skills. It is hoped that through the promotion of traffic safety education, correct road-use concepts will take root from a young age, jointly creating a friendlier and safer traffic environment.
