The news circulating online regarding "Taiwan Power Company recruiting online administrative staff with a salary of 65k" has attracted widespread attention, and Taiwan Power Company has issued a clarification on this matter.

In recent years, fraudulent methods have continuously evolved. According to statistics from the Ministry of the Interior's National Police Agency, the number of reported fraud cases across Taiwan reached as high as 3,390 during the period from March 30 to April 5, 2025, leading to property losses exceeding NT$1.486 billion. Recently, criminals have impersonated Taiwan Power Company, posting false recruitment information on social media platforms, claiming salaries as high as 65k. Taiwan Power Company has emphasized that this is false information and urges job seekers not to believe it to avoid being deceived!

In response to this fraudulent behavior, Taiwan Power Company issued a statement indicating that the company regularly conducts public recruitment examinations and will never recruit personnel through private messages on social media platforms. All recruitment information can be found on the examination website or on the recruitment information section of the Taiwan Power Company's official website, and job seekers are reminded to stay vigilant and not to spread false information to avoid being deceived.

Taiwan Power Company further explained that fraud groups are using platforms like Facebook to provide false recruitment information under the name "Sincerely recruiting Taiwan Power Company online administrative staff," enticing job seekers with high salaries to carry out fraud. Taiwan Power Company reiterated that if job seekers have any needs, they should check relevant recruitment information on the examination website or the Taiwan Power Company's official website. If there are any doubts or suspicious recruitment information is found, they should immediately call the 24-hour customer service hotline or the 165 anti-fraud hotline to verify and protect their rights and avoid being scammed.
