Although the rose flowers this year are not as stunning as in previous years, they are still pleasing to the eye, and many rare small wildflowers can be discovered. Due to the crowded parking during the holiday period, it is recommended to choose nearby paid parking lots and take a stroll around the park to enjoy the rich markets and delicious food. The 2025 Taipei Rose Exhibition officially opened on March 14 (Friday) and will run until April 13 (Sunday). If you come to see the flowers before April 4, you might find that this year's rose blooms seem not as splendid as in previous years, but the trip can still be a relaxing experience, especially with many little wildflowers that are not usually easy to spot.
During the exhibition period, due to the long holiday, the parking lot at Xinsheng Park was already filled with vehicles waiting to enter. We drove around in circles without finding any roadside parking spots, and in the end, we had to park at a paid parking lot on Jilin Street and walk a few minutes over. Right next to the fire station, we saw that the tassel trees were blooming with pure white flowers, which were quite eye-catching.
During the event that day, there was also a small market, and various food trucks attracted many visitors. Perhaps due to the very hot weather at noon, after we enjoyed the roses in the flower sea area, we decided to leave, originally planning to visit another area’s flower exhibition.
As we walked along the paths in the park, we couldn't help but take pictures of the flowers we admired. This year's little wildflowers were even more eye-catching than the roses, which was a delightful surprise.
