It offers a variety of meal options, such as braised pork rice, minced pork rice, noodles, soups, and side dishes. The braised pork rice is paired with pickled mustard greens and sauce cucumbers, with each grain of rice distinct and the meat tender. The sesame sauce noodles have a rich texture, the white tofu soup is light and sweet, and the bitter melon soup is sweet with a hint of bitter melon fragrance. The pig ears are flavored with garlic oil, giving them a crispy texture. The store is named Zhongliao Yihe Snack Bar, located at No. 477-15, Yongping Road, Zhongliao Township, Nantou County. It is continually popular and perfect for enjoying a lovely afternoon.

The braised pork rice (large) is accompanied by pickled mustard greens and pickled cucumbers. Although we were not sure if we could choose the type of meat, we didn’t ask since more and more customers arrived. Notably, there are toothpicks on the dining table, so be sure to take one first! The rice is fluffy, the lean meat has a chewy yet tender texture, and the fatty meat is firm without being greasy. However, for those who are not fond of fatty meat, finding a piece with more fat may not be to their liking.

The sesame noodles (small) have a rich sesame flavor and a hint of the aroma from braised pork, with the noodles being a simple version that has a slightly thicker texture.

The white tofu soup has a light and sweet flavor, enriched with the aroma of fried shallots.

The bitter melon soup is sweet and rich, infused with the fragrance of bitter melon, making it highly recommended for friends who love bitter melon.

The pig ears paired with garlic oil exude a smoky meat aroma that makes you go for bite after bite, and before you know it, the whole plate is gone.
