I previously saw the semi-cooked goose oil fried egg with goose meat rice bowl from "秋香鵝肉館" on television, and it looked very delicious, so I specially traveled to the main store in Banqiao to taste it. This restaurant has been popular since it opened six years ago for its affordable and tasty goose meat dishes, and parking is very convenient. We visited on a holiday afternoon, and there weren't many people, so the environment was spacious and clean. The menu in the restaurant is diverse, including goose meat, noodles, rice, and side dishes. Notably, their smoked goose meat is generous in portion and very flavorful. The crispiness of the semi-cooked goose oil fried egg complements the tenderness of the goose meat perfectly, making it irresistible. Overall, not only is it delicious with a high cost-performance ratio, but it has also become my new choice for lunch after training.

Therefore, I specifically visited their branch to taste it, and it was indeed quite tasty. I wondered if I would be able to experience an even better flavor if I had the chance to dine at their main store in Banqiao. Recently, on a holiday morning, I took my son to practice table tennis in Banqiao and decided to have lunch at "Qiu Xiang Goose Meat Restaurant."

There are about seven or eight franchise locations of "Qiu Xiang Goose Meat Restaurant" nationwide, with the main store located in Banqiao, which has been in operation for more than six years. It gained wide acclaim for its semi-cooked goose oil fried egg and goose meat rice bowl due to their high cost-performance ratio, and has been widely reported by the media, making it quite popular locally.

There is a public parking lot about a hundred meters away from the restaurant, making parking very convenient. We visited before the Lunar New Year holiday ended, and perhaps because many people had not yet returned to work, the dining crowd was not too large. Before heading there, I even called to confirm whether the restaurant was open, and it turned out they rarely close, even during the holiday period, as there are many elderly people living alone nearby who need meals.

The interior of the restaurant is spacious and clean. We first looked at the menu, which included various options such as goose meat, noodles, rice, side dishes, soups, signature specialties, and set meals.

On the work table, they were deboning goose legs, and the goose meat looked fat and enticing. We ordered the fried egg goose meat rice bowl, fried egg goose leg rice, goose meat noodles, boiled vegetables, and chives with bean sprouts and goose intestines.

The goose meat in the bowl was boneless smoked goose, with generous portions and fresh ingredients that made each bite flavorful and tender. It had a faint smoky aroma. Although the lack of bones reduced the enjoyment of consuming them, it avoided the inconvenience of getting bone fragments stuck.

The broth was rich and flavorful; one sip revealed its complexity. The boiled vegetables were stir-fried with goose oil, adding an extra layer of aroma, making them tastier than regular boiled vegetables.

The restaurant's signature fried egg was topped with a semi-cooked poached egg, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The addition of goose oil enhanced its aroma, and the flowing egg yolk was mouth-watering. The diced goose meat on the rice bowl was equally impressive, consisting of skin-on smoked goose, which was very chewy, and the rice absorbed the aroma of the goose oil, making for a delightful overall experience.

Additionally, we ordered the tender chives with bean sprouts and goose intestines, which were smooth and had no fishy taste, making them quite delicious. The other dish, fried egg goose leg rice, had the leg deboned, and it was fresh, juicy, and not dry at all—absolutely delicious.

The semi-cooked goose oil fried egg and goose meat rice bowl were undoubtedly impressive, and their high cost-performance ratio is a reason for frequent customers. Overall, the meal at the main store was more palatable than what I tasted at the branch before. If I take my son to practice again in Banqiao on a holiday, this will be a great lunch option for us.
