Magic Hand's Shibuya Store Launches Event: Drink and Get Free Taiwanese Mangoes

In Shibuya, Tokyo, the Magic Hand’s flagship store held a grand opening celebration this past weekend, featuring the event titled "Drink Magic Hand for Good Fortune." On June 28 and 29, the store offered free Taiwanese Apple Mangoes to customers, having air-freighted 80 boxes worth about 700 yen each. Customers who purchased a drink could participate in a dice game to win these exclusive mangoes.
The event garnered enthusiastic support from local consumers and Taiwanese visitors in Japan, with the chairman, Wang Hsien-Ming, personally flying in to interact with the crowds and enhance the festivities. The event saw long queues as people eagerly anticipated tasting this seasonal delight from Taiwan. Wang expressed gratitude, stating that this endeavor is not only to celebrate the opening but also to introduce Taiwan's excellent agricultural products to a broader Japanese audience and support Taiwanese farmers.
Participants actively engaged in the dice challenge, eagerly taking photos to showcase their prizes. Many expressed joy, adding that they were able to enjoy authentic Taiwanese tea while taking home the essence of Taiwanese summer.
This event attracted significant media coverage and live streaming, adding excitement to the atmosphere. Wang thanked everyone for their support and hinted at more future activities intended to share Taiwan's quality products with Japanese friends.
Overall, this initiative serves not only as a branding opportunity but also as a morale booster for the mango industry in Tainan affected by earthquakes. Through such activities, Magic Hand aims to help propel more products onto a larger market. Furthermore, Tainan city council member Tsai Li-Ching also attended the events, striving to create new sales channels for local agricultural products. The two-day event successfully drew crowds, effectively conveying Taiwanese warmth and flavor to all corners of Shibuya.
