Italian man Andrea Marazzi has spent a year in his family's scrapyard crafting what he claims to be the "world's narrowest Fiat Panda," measuring just 50 cm wide. This single-seat electric vehicle, while not currently street-legal, is intended for exhibition purposes and an application for the Guinness World Records.

Marazzi designed and modified the vehicle based on a 1993 model Fiat Panda, retaining key elements like the original roof, doors, and overall appearance, while redesigning the vehicle’s body and internal structure to create a narrow body suitable for a single occupant. The car measures 340 cm in length, 145 cm in height, and weighs about 264 kg, maintaining the original four-wheel configuration.

The power system is fully electric, with a top speed of 15 km/h and a range of about 25 km, making it ideal for short-distance exhibition use. The interior only accommodates one driver's seat, with a small steering wheel and a set of headlights, while two mini turn signals grace either side. The rear end resembles the bow of a ship, showcasing impressive design aesthetics.

Marazzi stated that the entire project was overseen solely by him, taking place at his family's scrapyard, "Autodemolizione Marazzi," located in Bagnolo Cremasco, a region in northern Italy. He used 99% of original parts in the handmade assembly of this vehicle, compressing its width to just 50 cm—equivalent to about one-third of the classic Panda 141 and a quarter of the new Grande Panda—featuring only one door on one side for entry. When sitting, the driver is positioned directly in the center of the vehicle.

Although this ultra-narrow electric car is slow and currently lacks street legality, its light design allows it to navigate through tight spaces and between two lanes. Marazzi plans to showcase the vehicle at exhibitions and car shows in the future while preparing to submit an application to Guinness World Records for certification as the "world's narrowest car." Recently, he uploaded a test drive video on Instagram, demonstrating the car's extraordinary flat and narrow design with tires as thin as blades, able to drive smoothly on the road. The interior is designed minimally, featuring only one driver's seat, with a small chair fit for one person in the back; however, if someone wishes to sit in the back, they must crawl over from the driver's side door.
