The Spring Festival Journey organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Journalists Association's International Communication Committee and the Zhejiang International Communication Center (ZICC) has successfully concluded. This event attracted over a dozen foreign friends living in locations such as Hangzhou, Jinhua, Ningbo, and Lishui, aiming to showcase the charm of Chinese Spring Festival culture through the lens of international youth.

During the event, six foreign friends were appointed as ZICC's "Cultural Ambassadors for Global Promotion of Chinese Culture," raising the total number of cultural ambassadors to nearly 20. These ambassadors are tasked with the responsibility and mission of promoting Chinese culture worldwide. The journey kicked off in Hangzhou, where foreign friends deeply appreciated the Song Dynasty's charm at the South Song De Shou Palace Ruins Museum. Under the guidance of intangible cultural heritage artisans, they had hands-on experiences with peach wood printing techniques and made exquisite mother-of-pearl handicrafts, gaining a profound understanding of the depth of Chinese intangible cultural heritage.

Later, they visited the Jiangnan Zongzi Museum in Jiaxing, where they learned traditional zongzi wrapping techniques. An Italian chef ingeniously incorporated creative ingredients to create unique zongzi, which captured the attention of everyone present. At the Shiyan Ocarina Music Museum, they experienced playing the ocarina, and during a Jiangnan gathering by the canal, they enjoyed the pleasures of tea brewing and calligraphy.

In Lishui's Qingtian county, foreign friends not only experienced seal carving art but also participated in the joy of catching fish in the fields. This rich array of cultural experiences vividly showcased the diverse charm of Zhejiang's cultural landscape, and more wonderful stories about the Spring Festival in Zhejiang will be conveyed to the world through their perspectives.
