The spokesperson for the Executive Yuan stated that Su Tseng-chang emphasized that the Legislative Yuan should not become a venue for gang gatherings and demanded immediate action on this matter.

The DPP caucus secretary-general Wu Si-yao confirmed this news in a post this afternoon, emphasizing that “Premier Su Tseng-chang directed the Ministry of the Interior to take necessary actions, and public authority should not be challenged or provoked; under the request of the National Police Agency, the Legislative Yuan restaurant urgently announced it would suspend operations tonight.” The Executive Yuan subsequently confirmed this matter.

Executive Yuan spokesperson Lee Hui-chih stated that upon learning this afternoon at 4 PM that gang members would hold a banquet at the Legislative Yuan's Kang Yuan restaurant, Su Tseng-chang immediately pointed out that "the Legislative Yuan is an important facade of the country, and the restaurant must not become a gathering place for gangs," and demanded that the Ministry of the Interior properly handle the situation. Considering factors such as national image and security, the Ministry of the Interior proposed suggestions to the Legislative Yuan, which then requested the Kang Yuan restaurant to cooperate with relevant measures.
