The Tainan City Indigenous Sports Team performed excellently at the 114th National Indigenous Peoples Sports Games, winning 7 gold, 7 silver, and 9 bronze medals, setting a record for their best performance ever. Indigenous Peoples Commission Chairperson Bai Huilan accompanied the athletes for several days, witnessing their joy in winning medals. Mayor Huang Weizhe praised the athletes' spirit of perseverance and thanked all the staff for their hard work, looking forward to their continued progress in future competitions. Among the various events, athletics, weightlifting, and traditional archery stood out, especially with Ma Haowei and Ma Jiale winning gold medals in their individual events. Bai Huilan also encouraged the athletes to prepare for upcoming competitions and achieve even better results.

The Tainan City All-Yuan Sports Team performed excellently, ultimately winning seven golds, seven silvers, and nine bronzes, setting a record for the best performance in its participation history. The Commissioner of the Indigenous Peoples Commission accompanied the athletes for several days, witnessing the joy of winning medals with them.

After the successful conclusion of the 114th National Indigenous Peoples Sports Games, the Tainan City representative team athletes experienced four days of intense competition, ultimately achieving a remarkable result of 7 golds, 7 silvers, and 9 bronzes. This not only surpassed the number of medals from the previous session but also represented the best performance in Tainan's history, writing a glorious chapter in the sports history of Tainan with their efforts and sweat, showcasing the unyielding fighting spirit of indigenous athletes.

The mayor affirmed the athletes' fighting spirit, believing that this performance far exceeded previous ones. They praised the Tainan team as a source of pride for the city and expressed gratitude to all the athletes, coaches, and support teams for their hard work. They hoped the athletes would continue to improve and shine on higher competitive stages in the future.

The Tainan Indigenous Affairs Commission pointed out that in terms of gold medals, the athletics athletes excelled individually, winning gold in the men's shot put and discus throw; in the youth girls' category, Ma Jiale won gold in the discus event, and Wu Jiekai dominated the javelin in the youth boys' category. In weightlifting, Fang Guaning from the women's open group and Zhuang Jiayin in the youth girls' 64 kg category each won gold medals; in traditional archery, the elder women's team event was won by Li Xiuying, Lin Yingzhu, and Ruan Meiyue, adding another gold for the Tainan team.

Regarding silver medals, weightlifter Ba Yuhan from the women's open category and Ke Youzhu from the 73 kg youth men's category each won silver. In the net casting event, female athletes from the open women’s group successfully reached the podium. In athletics, Li Yuansheng from the youth men's 200 meters earned a silver medal, and Huang Anjie from the second level of women's judo achieved second place in a fierce competition. In traditional archery, both the mixed doubles and women's categories of Li Xiuying won silver medals.

For bronze medals, Li Yuansheng from the youth men's 400 meters and Ma Jiale from the youth girls' shot put both received bronze medals, while the youth baseball and basketball teams also stood on the podium. Additionally, Hong Jiarong from the third level of women’s judo, Hu Pinlun from the 68 kg youth men's taekwondo category, and Ke Xuyayun from the 87 kg women's open weightlifting category all earned bronze medals. Ma Tingxia from the women’s open taekwondo category (over 67 kg) and Huang Zhuangruijie from the men's open 68 kg category also secured bronze medals for the Tainan team.

During the competition, the Commissioner of the Indigenous Peoples Commission personally attended the event daily to cheer for the athletes, thank them for their dedication and efforts, witness the athletes' joy, and encourage them to strive harder in the next 116th All-Yuan Sports Games, preparing for the upcoming events in Taichung, with hopes of achieving great results again.
