The Secretary-General of the Democratic Progressive Party caucus later confirmed via a post that the Premier has instructed the Ministry of the Interior to take necessary measures, emphasizing that public authority should not be challenged or provoked. At the request of the National Police Agency, the Legislative Yuan's restaurant urgently announced its closure.

The Executive Yuan spokesperson stated that after learning that gang members would hold a banquet at the Legislative Yuan's Kwangyuan Restaurant, the Premier immediately pointed out that the Legislative Yuan is an important facade of the nation and should absolutely not become a gathering place for gangs.
