With a history spanning over a century, the British luxury car manufacturer Morgan has unveiled its new sports car, the Supersport, showcasing a perfect blend of distinctive design language and modern technology. Known since its establishment in 1910 for creating vehicles rich in classic charm yet possessing contemporary performance, the Supersport represents the latest interpretation of this philosophy.

The Morgan Supersport is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six turbocharged engine, delivering a remarkable 335 horsepower, which is transmitted to the rear wheels through a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. This combination signifies Morgan's harmonious marriage of traditional automotive technology with modern performance, providing exceptional driving experiences.

In terms of exterior design, the Supersport retains classic Morgan elements, making it immediately recognizable, while enhancing certain details with a modern touch. For example, the LED headlights maintain the vintage round “bug-eye” design, while the rear features a down-turned design complemented by built-in diffusers, LED tail lights, and double exhaust pipes, adding an aerodynamic feel to its overall shape. The vehicle's structure maintains tradition with a hand-crafted framework of ash wood, covered by 60% recyclable aluminum.

Breaking from its wood-frame legacy, the Supersport uses a laminated aluminum chassis from the new CXV platform. The new chassis offers greater rigidity compared to its CX counterpart and is equipped with a double A-arm suspension system, with options for an upgrade to Nitron adjustable dampers to enhance handling performance.

As the successor to the Plus Six, the Supersport continues the cooperation between Morgan and BMW, featuring an active exhaust system, and optional limited-slip differentials for enhanced handling. The aesthetic of the Supersport carries forward the classic elements, while its details exude a more contemporary flair. Inside, the car is furnished with Scottish leather and wood accents, along with a Sennheiser sound system, wireless charging pad, and ample storage options including a glove compartment, a small cargo area, and a possible option for a luggage rack.

Continuing the tradition of previous Morgan models, the Supersport is handcrafted at the Pickersleigh Road factory in Malvern, England. The team of artisans at Morgan meticulously crafts each vehicle, ensuring a refined quality and exceptional driving experience. Through the Supersport, Morgan not only preserves its classic legacy but also successfully steps into a modernized new chapter.
