However, it was later revealed that the People's Party had rented a vehicle worth 3 million NTD for the couple to use, and even after Ko Wen-je stepped down, Chen Pei-chi continued to use the vehicle.

Recently, internet celebrities discovered that "the chairman's official vehicle went to a remote location to enjoy jiuwei chicken." The internet celebrity stated that although Ko Wen-je has already taken charge of the district prosecutor's office, the official vehicle has still been operational for five consecutive days. They have now returned to Taipei, and on that day, the vehicle only traveled 10.1 kilometers. At the time, a member of the public inquired with the People's Party about who had gone to Dajia in Taichung to enjoy jiuwei chicken, but the response was: "Thank you for your concern; the media should be more concerned about how the highest budget in history is being used with taxpayers' money."

The internet celebrity expressed curiosity and confusion about the group of people using this vehicle to go to remote locations to enjoy jiuwei chicken, specifically hiding in a private room to dine, asking: "What are they discussing in secret?" After the post was published, a netizen inquired who the current user of the vehicle was, to which the internet celebrity replied, "The last one spotted was Chen Pei-chi." It is reported that during the New Year's period, Ko Wen-je indeed briefly worked at the district prosecutor's office, and the vehicle he took was this 3 million NTD vehicle; looking back a few days ago, Chen Pei-chi had also gone to the Tucheng detention center to deliver meals, again using this vehicle.

The internet celebrity questioned: "Why does Chen Pei-chi have the qualification to take this vehicle? In the past, it could be understood that as the wife of the party chairman, she could use this vehicle, but now that Ko Wen-je has already resigned from the position of party chairman, what identity does she have to ride in this vehicle? Perhaps this vehicle should be given to Guo Chang's wife to use."
