The TUTIS AI Club, initiated by Taiwan's TUTIS AI International Accelerator, recently held a signing and certification ceremony for its "Silicon Valley Branch of the North America Chapter" at the Taipei Garden Hotel. This event saw representatives from industry, government, academia, and research come together, symbolizing a new chapter in US-Taiwan cross-border collaboration in the field of artificial intelligence (AI).

Prominent entrepreneur Ming Lee has been appointed as the inaugural president of the Silicon Valley branch, making him the first international co-founder to respond to the AI Club initiative, injecting new energy into the global AI community. Zhang Yi-Wen, the founder of TUTIS AI International Accelerator, stated that since the launch of the AI Club on May 20 at COMPUTEX, it has received enthusiastic responses from cities around the world. The establishment of the Silicon Valley branch marks an important milestone in international expansion and signifies a deeper connection between North America and Asia in terms of AI industry chain integration and innovative exchange.

The new branch is based at the renowned tech hub, "Central Computer Building," generously provided by Mr. Saul Yeoung, the founder of the American Chinese Technology Association and current Honorary Chairman. It will serve as the core base for the AI Club in North America, initiating programs for talent, technology, and funding integration.

President Ming Lee emphasized that AI is rapidly reshaping the global industrial landscape. With Taiwan and Silicon Valley both possessing unique strengths, the TUTIS AI Club aims to serve as a bridge for technological and innovative collaboration between the two regions. He shared that his newly founded platform, Innouveaute AI, was established to promote AI applications between the US and Taiwan, and plans to leverage past experiences from organizing tech exhibitions to fully drive the practical operation of the North American AI Club in the future.

With deep roots in the Silicon Valley tech industry, Mr. Ming Lee has hosted numerous tech forums covering cloud computing, big data, smart cities, and more since 2012, pivoting recently towards AI innovation applications and collaborating with TUTIS AI to promote various US-Taiwan summits successfully facilitating several international cooperation projects.

Zhang Yi-Wen emphasized that the core philosophy of TUTIS AI Club is to build a globally open and co-creative AI ecosystem, linking computational power, talent, capital, and application markets through various city branches. The North America branch will focus on three primary objectives: "AI talent exchange," "technological implementation," and "venture capital connections," fully promoting the upgrading of US-Taiwan AI innovation cooperation.

The event also featured presentations from several members showcasing cutting-edge AI projects, highlighting Taiwan's innovation capabilities. For example, Cloud Number Technology demonstrated its "AI Computing Resource Scheduling Platform," enhancing GPU efficiency by up to 64 times, offering an efficient, plug-and-play environment for global AI developers. Zigzag, Inc. introduced an "Agent-based AI Service Platform," a system designed to automate task handling with AI agents, reconstructing corporate operations and user digital service experiences. TokenBacon showcased its "Nyan AI" platform, combining generative AI with anime characters to create interactive internet experiences while realizing the vision of AI agents proactively handling various online tasks.

With the establishment of the Silicon Valley branch, TUTIS AI Club’s global expansion enters a practical phase. The next step involves actively launching city branches in Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Singapore, and Bahrain, connecting the AI innovation value chain between the Asia-Pacific and the Americas. TUTIS AI Club sincerely invites global AI professionals, enterprises, and research institutions to join in promoting AI technology implementation and industry upgrade, building an innovative future of cross-border sharing.
