Kim Jong-un and Daughter Attend Relaunch Ceremony of the Repaired Destroyer

In a successful recovery after an incident, North Korea's destroyer, the Jiang Jian, held its relaunch ceremony on the 12th, with Kim Jong-un and his daughter Kim Ju-ae in attendance, showcasing the country's military strength.
This new destroyer recently faced an unexpected capsizing during its launch ceremony last month, resulting in significant damage. Kim Jong-un's furious reaction led to the arrest of four officials connected to the incident. According to the Korean Central News Agency, the ship's repairs were completed approximately 23 days after the accident, and the repair process was conducted at the Rajin Shipyard, taking between 7 to 10 days from diagnosis to detailed repair.
Kim Jong-un had previously ordered that the repairs be finished by the end of June to save face, causing relevant units to act swiftly, resulting in a grand relaunch ceremony held in mid-June. Although the ceremony was moved to a different shipyard, and the name of the ship was changed, this was done to erase the shadows of the previous incident.
Local reports indicate that the Jiang Jian is equipped with the most advanced and powerful weapons, expected to be operational by early next year. Kim Jong-un also announced plans to construct two ships of the same class or larger in tonnage each year to counter threats from hostile forces such as the United States.
Additionally, North Korea has drawn international attention for executing three high school students under the 'Anti-Disruption Law' for watching South Korean dramas. Moreover, there have been media reports about Kim Jong-un's health, suggesting that he might have died from a brain hemorrhage, which the official statement quickly denied.
North Korea's military actions, domestic policies, and human rights issues remain focal points of international concern. Each public appearance by Kim Jong-un reflects a culmination of both domestic and international dynamics, especially under the scrutiny of external pressures, necessitating that he bolster internal support and deter potential enemies through military displays.
