In a shocking incident in Minnesota, two state legislators and their spouses were shot in their homes in the suburbs of Minneapolis. The attack has raised concerns regarding potential political motivations behind the act. The victims include state senator John Hoffman and former state house speaker, state representative Melissa Hortman, both members of the Democratic Party. Tragically, Hortman and her husband did not survive the attack.
