Recently, internet celebrity The Director (Chen Zihan) attracted attention with his livestream in Shanghai, China. Throughout the broadcast, The Director lavishly praised various facilities in China, from trees along the roadside to toilet doors and even trash bins. This exaggerated behavior provoked backlash from netizens in both Taiwan and China. However, this is not the first controversy surrounding 'United Front Tour Groups'. Internet lawyer Ba Mao (Chen Yuuan) also revealed more secrets about her past participation in such a tour group.

Last year, Ba Mao disclosed that during her university days, she signed up for a similar tour group, attracted by an appealing price. She recollected that during the trip, they stayed in five-star hotels and dined in high-end restaurants, with police escorts in their transport. Ba Mao pointed out that the arrangements were meant to keep participants from encountering the real China.

Throughout these activities, participants were confined to a tailored itinerary, unable to experience local cuisine and instead suffering from stomach issues due to overeating greasy food. Ba Mao recounted an instance where she and her classmates sneaked out to explore, only to be reprimanded harshly by their tour guide, highlighting the authorities' fear of them seeing the actual situation in China.

Now, The Director's actions in China have been described as 'a rustic bragging superhero', where he seems completely lost in this orchestrated tourism experience. Ba Mao can't fathom why The Director appears so delighted by commonplace amenities, such as meal delivery robots and trash bins, emphasizing that most people would not be excited about such things. She ultimately questions how much money the Chinese government has spent to employ this 'bragging superhero' who counterproductively serves their propaganda.
